đŸŒ·Spring 2025 Highlights

Hey there! We’ve been shipping some solid updates lately—here’s a quick peek at what’s new under the hood:

👀 Sneak Peek – Custom Team Insights

We’re testing a new feature that lets you create custom AI prompts on your team meeting data to generate insights and summaries across your teams (where you’re a team member). It lives inside our upcoming Pages feature, where you can document team knowledge or keep private notes. Type /insights to select meetings and generate editable summaries to share with your team or report to leadership. It’s currently in beta—let us know if you’d like to try it.

🌐 Public Teams Are Live

Let anyone in your org discover and join relevant teams without needing an invite. Free-tier teams are public by default, and paid plans can toggle privacy.

đŸ‘„ Enterprise Admin Love

Enterprise admins, rejoice! You’re now getting:

  • Bulk user management (select and remove multiple users at once)
  • Smart safeguards to prevent kicking out the last meeting lead or yourself 🙃
  • Improved team sorting and visibility across large orgs
  • Invite to any team directly from the Org page

⚙ General Improvements

  • Static File Serving: We’ve upgraded how we serve static files by switching to ‘Cork’—faster, leaner, and more reliable.
  • Team Member Normalization: We cleaned up how team members are represented across the platform for a more consistent experience.
  • Company Query Access: Super users now have the power to query all companies, unlocking broader insights and better admin control.

🛠 Bug Fixes

  • Meeting Interface: Fixed those pesky drag handles and scrollbars acting up in some meeting tables.
  • Text Editor Placeholder: Fixed a regression affecting placeholders in the tiptap text editor, ensuring proper display and functionality.
  • SAML Attributes: Squashed a bug causing issues with duplicate SAML attributes.
  • GraphQL Failover: Patched a tricky edge case where GraphQL retries weren’t playing nice with stream consumption.
  • Migration Validations: We’ve added extra checks to catch invalid down migrations before they cause trouble.

Thanks for being part of the Parabol journey—we’re glad you’re here 💜
